Last Friday, the city of Salem gathered to honor some of their most outstanding citizens at the First Citizen’s Awards Banquet. Among the four recipients of the Distinguished Service Award was our own Chuck Swank. Even the Mayor of Salem was on hand to congratulate the awardees!

For those of us that don’t know, what was Chuck honored for?
The award is for contributing to the community. He’s donated a lot of time to many charitable organizations, including Salem Rotary and the Salem-Keizer School Foundation.
I’ve never seen a more beautiful family.
We already knew that Chuck was ‘outstanding’ and it is wonderful that the City of Salem has recognized him also. Congratulations!!!
I have no concept of being around that many people. You all look like your having an LOT of fun though….
