Chuck is actively involved in the Salem Keizer Education Foundation and consequently, so are the rest of us.  Awesome 3000 is the huge kids only fun run put on every spring.  This year Chuck (who is also an organizer), Liz & Jeff handed out finisher’s medals, Ben & I shot the event, Phoebe entertained our kids before their races, and Will & Lucy both ran in their age heat.  (Well, Will had a bit of a panic attack due to the huge crowd, but luckily Uncle Jeff was there to carry him along.)  It was a fun morning for everyone!
