Memorial Day Weekend: Eugene

After two nights in La Pine, we packed up all our stuff and headed to an impromptu gathering of some of Becky’s cousins (Seth, Lauren, Tony, and Debbie) near Eugene. The kids ranged from about 1 to almost 5, and there were wheeled conveyances for all.

The house was right on Dexter Reservoir, and everyone (myself included) had fun throwing rocks into the water. Well, Jackson couldn’t exactly throw, but he had a good time.

It was a good time to catch up with people we don’t see very often.

Afterwards, we handed the kids off to their grandparents, and strolled around Eugene with our friends Tim and Vanessa. We had beer and nachos, cocktails, some dinner, some dessert, and lovely conversation. It was quite a night.

  1. It’s really awesome, how your kids just fit in with the gang of cousins. What a fun weekend you guys had. Will and Lucky will remember you throwing in the rocks. ( TIME you spent with them)
    keep it up
