Christmastime!

Confession: we were so busy being involved in all our Christmas activities that we hardly brought a camera out!

Our Christmas Eve was spent down in Salem at Chuck & Phoebe’s annual family party.  It was a smaller group than usual, but still lots of great bonding, playing and catching up.

One thing I did insist on this year was to organize a group shot from each gathering (luckily, everyone indulged me):

The Swanks came up here to help us celebrate our first Christmas in our new house.  We opened presents and had a lovely brunch.

That afternoon we went to Oregon City to have cousin playtime, more presents, and a great dinner with my family.

And on Boxing Day Ben and I attended a gathering wearing delightful matching sparkly reindeer shirts.

Although balancing several families takes some work, we are so happy to have them all in our lives and are grateful we got to see so many this holiday!

  1. Well first off Becky. We have find people and ask them over on Christmas and Thanksgiving. We have no family that claims us close enough to come over. Its hard to make these times special for our kids. But we do the best we can.

Since I don’t know the families, forgive me for my next statement. That first pic where Will is showing something to that poor guy. He looks as confused as I do with all that computer stuff. It was just too funny. Really made my day.

I spent as much time looking at what I could see of your new house as I did seeing how much fun and closeness there must of been. You are ALL lucky and blessed to have so many around that care for you. Thanks for sharing
