I will admit that Ben and I saw each other before the ceremony.  I highly recommend this practice.  We get to take care of all the family portraits ahead of time and not waste any time going from ceremony to reception.  We had already shared a quiet coffee moment before we had even dressed, but we hadn’t seen each other all dolled up yet.  Ben patiently waits for the big reveal:
