Ben and I love to explore Portland’s food scene and it’s one of the reasons we love living in this city so much! At the beginning of the month we took a long stroll to Beast and enjoyed a magnificent 6 course meal with wine pairings.
Inside the small restaurant there a two large community tables, but we were there early for our seating and scored one of the two tiny outdoor tables. We were able to enjoy the balmy night in relative peace and could bask in the food and each other’s company.
William spent a Saturday in Eugene with Liz and Jeff at his very first Ducks game. I don’t have any photos yet, but he had a great day. Meanwhile Ben, Lucy, and I met up with some friends for a picnic:
We then took Lucy to Kennedy School for dinner and her first (we think) movie theater experience!
We all sat on this cozy couch and completely enjoyed Madagascar 3:
Game time with dad!
We are season ticket holders to Broadway Across America and our first show was Memphis. We really enjoyed it!
This is a photo I took with my phone at the end of this awesome photo session with Sam and Grace:
Grandma Kay arrived a few days before our Honeymoon so that we could spend some time with her. I had some major deadlines I had to meet, so Ben and Kay took the kids to Hubbard to play with cousins:
And then down to Salem to help Chuck celebrate his birthday:
This was my view that day:
Finally, I’ll leave you with an image of the rather striking outfit that Lucy put together:
