The kids always spend their second half of Winter Break having a great time in Salem. This time around was no exception!

My 12th-Day Experience gift from Ben was a relaxing 3 days back at the coast. We relaxed a lot, but also shopped for beach houses (more on that news later!)

On the way home we stopped for supper at Camp 18, where the meals are huge!

We hosted a small New Year’s gathering.  I’d undergone a very painful procedure on the 26th, and still wasn’t recovered. This low-key party was a great compromise.

Ben set up a Rock Band stage and we all rocked out!

Someone also brought along the game Cards Against Humanity, which is billed as “a party game for horrible people”.  It was awesome.
