Today we took the kids to the Portland Art Museum! This was their first visit to an art museum of any kind; all the other museums we’ve been to have been about history or animals. They were fascinated by all the abstract and impressionist pieces, and we spent a solid 45 minutes looking at the Native American crafts. Here’s us with some of our favorite pieces:

All in all, a highly successful visit. Fortunately, we happen to have a credit card through Bank of America, which means we (and maybe you!) can get in for free during the first weekend of every month.
