So we’ve had this Expedit bookshelf in our dining room for over three years now. And it’s pretty. Pretty noisy, pretty wobbly, pretty we just graduated from college.

It was time for a change. Becky broke out her mad Overstock skills and found us something new! It arrived literally as we were headed out the door to go to Wisconsin!

See the little orange brick on top there? That’s a Jambox. If you scroll back up to the first photo and look at all the ugly black things sitting on top of the old shelf, that’s what it replaces.

It’s made of reclaimed pieces, but it’s a brand new construction. It definitely weighs more than two whales.

BONUS: we also got a new clock! The wall really needed something, and since our ventilation hood went up, we can’t see the kitchen clock from the dining table anymore.

This, along with the new kitchen and living room, really make the house feel like home.
