#11: Write a Book

This is part of our 100 Things in 2014 challenge. Here’s the full list.

I was visiting GitHub headquarters late last year, when one of the founders asked me if I’d want to help out with the second edition of his book (which was hugely influential in my career). It took me about half a second to say yes.

So after a year of writing and rewriting, I’m now a published, professional author. If it looks like your cup of tea, you can buy a paper copy on Amazon, or download the electronic versions for free.

Honestly, I share the credit for this achievement with Becky, who made room in our evenings (and kept kicking me in the pants) to write.
