It was only a little out of our way to visit the tallest Glockenspiel in America. So we did. And we waited fifteen whole minutes on the side of the street so we could watch it do its thing.
The waiting wasn’t so bad. Kitty-corner from the Glockenspiel is the Tree of Trades, which represents all the occupations the town values.
We never noticed it before this visit, but going here is kind of like visiting Bavaria. All the old downtown buildings, the annual Oktoberfest with lederhosen. Worth a visit if you’re in the area.
