Once we moved to the suburbs, we found very quickly that being a one-car family wasn’t an easy option any longer. So I went looking for a little runabout, to get me and the kids to the bus stop in the mornings. I found us an ’09 Civic Hybrid:

I wasn’t looking for anything flashy, just something that fit budget-wise, doesn’t burn a ton of gas, and will be dependable for 5 years or so. And I think I found it. It’s nowhere near as fancy or comfortable as our Jeep, but it doesn’t have to be.
