We’re just so glad that people emigrate from Venezuela. When they do, they bring their food with them, and we have the great fortune to try it out.

Teote is a two-story place in Southeast Portland, and it’s bursting with lovely bowls of goodness. The food is spicy, but accompanied by sweet arepas, which are like pancakes made out of corn.

You couldn’t ask for a better way to warm up on a cold Portland winter day.
