First, the kids. Sometimes the traffic gods smile upon us, and we arrive in south downtown before school opens, so we have a few minutes to hang out at Lair Hill Park. We’ve started the kids on piano lessons using Piano Wizard, which they love. Lucy got to pick out her own sewing kit, and Will got a punching bag.

I published a new book! I contributed two chapters to Building Tools with GitHub, while Chris Dawson wrote the rest. We’ve been finishing out our kitchen with a rolling cart and some baskets for produce. Sometimes I work from coffee shops, and sometimes Becky goes on walks with our awesome friend Vanessa from the Seattle area.
