Even though Lucy’s actual birthday had been adequately celebrated in Wisconsin, we held a second one at home for just the four of us. Lucy went to Eagle Crest with the Swanks while were were in Albuquerque, and we got back just in time for a Bend wedding. Lucy had her medical checkup, and we made waffles.

Dorothy got a great haircut, and we spent some time in Washougal.
