Ah, pajama day. That magical day when you don’t even have to change your clothes all day long. Where you can work on this, or on that, or on nothing at all.
This is part of our 100 Things in 2016 challenge. Here’s the full list.
Generally we’re pretty structured with screen time, and we like to be out about town doing things. Pajama day is the exact opposite: we don’t go anywhere except on maybe a walk or two, we stay in PJs all day, and provided the content is age-appropriate, everybody gets to use screens all day long – or not. The day’s structure is up to each person individually.
Okay, full disclosure: we’re pretty sure we had four Pajama Days this year, but we only have photos from two of them, because we forgot to take photos of the others. The first photo is from January, in one of the houses we rented while our new Salmon Creek house was being overhauled, and the second one is from today, in our beach house.
This is one of my favorite “new” traditions our family has started. We all get a lot out of it, and it’s just so easy!
