Becky and I both got Lasik surgery more than a decade ago, which freed us from the tyranny of glasses and contacts forever. Or so we thought.
This is part of our 100 Things in 2016 challenge. Here’s the full list.
Earlier this year, we went to the eye doctor (for the first time since Lasik 😊) and got tested, and our suspicious were confirmed: we had both slipped. Not enough to make our lives difficult, nor enough to qualify for a Lasik touch-up procedure (much to Becky’s dismay), but enough that having correction for driving at night would be nice.
So we went and got ourselves some stylish specs. I think we look pretty good in them, but you be the judge:
Driving at night is so much easier now. I’m still getting used to walking into a building and not pushing them up on top of my head, though.
