We’ve been married for 4½ years now, and there isn’t a single wedding photo hanging in our house. Time to fix that.
This is part of our 100 Things in 2016 challenge. Here’s the full list.
Also, our new house has a huge hole in the wall above the fireplace, meant for a large CRT television. We’ve been using it for the turntable and vinyl collection, a charging station for random electronics, and just kind of a clutter-catcher.
So Becky procured a triptych print of our favorite wedding portrait (taken by the inimitable Jenn Repp), and I mounted it to cover the big hole in the wall. Here’s the trick, though: it’s on hinges, so we can still lift up the panels and get to the stuff behind it.
It took me three tries to get it mounted to the wall straight, but it’s worth it. Our living room looks much nicer now!
