We love to travel, and we love to have those memories close at hand. We already display a collection of art pieces that we’ve picked up, and when we came across this idea, it seemed to fit with our interesting-but-not-cluttered aesthetic.

The idea for this actually came from a bed-and-breakfast we stayed at during a no-destination road trip. We were eating breakfast, and beneath the glass tabletop was a collection of little jars of sand, each labeled with the part of the world where it came from. We were inspired, and we have the perfect place in our hose for such a project, so we got started collecting.

Currently our collection has five samples from our most recent travels, but we look forward to filling it out.
