Who doesn’t love to laugh? We certainly do. Sketch and improv may not be for everybody, but it’s a flavor we enjoy.
This is part of our 100 Things in 2017 challenge. Here’s the full list. Click on the photos for a closer look!
Portland Sketchfest is a weekend-long festival of sketch comedy. The night we went there were four acts, including a group from the Groundlings (in Los Angeles), who it’s possible you’ve heard of, and Aces (from right here in Portland), which you probably haven’t, but possibly will someday.
We had a great time. There were some awkwardnesses about how the shows were done that seemed inexplicable (like having to empty the theater between acts), but overall it was well-done, friendly, and fun. Check it out if you like to laugh. We plan to go again!
