#67: Pujol

As part of my surprise trip with Becky, I wanted to incorporate a truly excellent culinary experience. Pujol came highly recommended to me, and as it turns out, we were not steered wrongly.

This is part of our 100 Things in 2017 challenge. Click on the photos for a closer look!

We had been mostly doing touristy things in Mexico City, staying pretty low-key. But Pujol exudes a level of opulence that took us aback. We were treated to a level of service and formality that’s pretty hard to find in our hometown of Portland.

The restaurant was striking. The food was delicious and beautiful. Yes, that’s an octopus tentacle, and yes, we ate the whole thing.

Highly recommended if you’re into this sort of thing. This was by far the priciest thing we did on our trip, but it was well worth it.
