We had planned this for later in the year, but a friend of ours picked up an “in-home interactive dining experience” at the Gardner School auction last year, and invited us along, so here we are!

The food was provided by Simply Thyme catering. Tamara brought all the supplies she needed for a four-course meal centered on salmon Wellington. All the guests pitched in, tossing the salad, wrapping the asparagus with bacon, assembling and decorating the pies. Jennifer and Fredrik from English Estate Winery supplied the beverages, and all the kids went upstairs and entertained themselves.
It was magical. We had a fantastic time, eating great food and drinking great wine with great people. We liked it enough that now we’re thinking of throwing a shindig like this at our house someday.
