Live theater is something we mostly enjoy, but sometimes struggle with. Occasionally we see a performance that’s so abstract and high-minded that we come out confused as to what we just saw.

But not this time. The performance of Kodachrome we saw was heart-achingly beautiful, and we spent the rest of the day alternating between thoughtful silence and being unable to stop talking about it.

It was a great piece of theatre, and we heartily enjoyed it. If you’re anything like us, and in the Portland area, Portland Center Stage consistently puts out high quality theater that’s just at the right level for us, and so maybe it will be for you too.
