Earlier this year, we realized that I had never taken both the kids on an overnight trip while leaving Becky at home alone. So at the beginning of September, I spirited the kids away for a fun weekend in Sunriver. We’re not often in this area, but we love the change in scenery and climate, and there’s so much to do.
This is part of our 100 Things in 2018 challenge. Make sure to click on the photos!
There isn’t much of a narrative to our trip, but we did enjoy some board games, mini golf, rock climbing, rubber-band jumping, bike-riding, and of course the SHARC. We also spotted some solar prominences that could swallow the Earth at the Oregon Observatory. And there may have been donuts and shave ice.
