Literally the day after Lucy got home from Black Butte, she packed her bag for her first-ever overnight camp! She and two of her best friends from school went to Camp Westwind, a weeklong affair on grounds not far from Lincoln City. They did tons of activities, and it looks just perfect. They post lots of photos to Flickr, so we could see what she was up to:

It was somewhat ironic that Becky and I spent a couple of days in Neskowin while Lucy was partying it up about 10 miles south of us. She had a really great time, and came home singing camp songs and wanting to go again. Success!
